Jon Brion Redux

So as expected, Jon Brion's "encore" gig at a much smaller place was much better than the NYE show. One obvious highlight came when Brion invited Wilco's Pat Sansone, Sansone's friend and a lucky semi-random guy from the audience named Packy up on stage to play a couple of Beatles songs. No doubt impressed that this Packy guy apparently knew not just how to play every single Beatles song on bass, but also knew McCartney's vocals (on the Lennon songs, no less!), lead to an epic block of Lennon Beatles songs, ending with "Tomorrow Never Knows" but starting with this frantic gem, done with no rehearsal, no warning, no set list and, until these guys got on the stage, no band:
