I'm no lawyer, but I don't think Gov. Blago's ongoing "I did nothing wrong, but even if I did, everyone else does it, too" defense will fly.

It's surreal to watch all this stuff on TV, not just because for the life of me I can't remember a minute of the last four inaugurations, but also because, well, the crowd just seems to happy and diverse. The only other time I've seen so many smiling people of similarly different white/black/man/woman whatever make-up was the last time I saw a Prince concert. Which is fitting, because for the first time ever we have a president who may actually one day invite Prince to perform at the White House.
